Terms and Conditions

Buraq Travel

Last Updated: July 10, 2026

PLEASE READ THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE BOOKING ANY UMRAH, HAJJ, OR OTHER TRAVEL PACKAGE WITH BURAQ TRAVEL.

1. Company Information

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern all bookings, packages, and services offered by Travel Buraq Global LLC, doing business as "Buraq Travel" ("Buraq," "Buraq Travel," "we," "us," or "our").

Address: 7901 4th St N STE 300, St. Petersburg, FL 33702, United States
Phone: +1 (551) 451-0289
Email: support@travelburaq.com

For clients booking or traveling from Canada, services may be provided in conjunction with our affiliated Ontario entity, 100741262 Ltd. References to "Buraq" in these Terms include this affiliate where applicable to Canadian bookings. The specific Buraq entity contracting with a given client is identified on that client's booking confirmation or invoice.

Buraq Travel is a travel agency that arranges Umrah, Hajj, and related travel packages, including flights, hotel accommodations, ground transportation, visa processing assistance, and on-the-ground support in Saudi Arabia. Buraq acts as an intermediary and booking agent between clients and third-party suppliers, including airlines, hotels, ground transportation providers, and the Government of Saudi Arabia. Buraq does not own or operate any airline, hotel, or transportation service.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By booking a package, submitting a deposit, signing a booking form, or otherwise engaging Buraq's services, you ("client," "traveler," or "you") confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms. If you are booking on behalf of other travelers, you confirm that you have the authority to bind them to these Terms, and you accept responsibility for ensuring they are aware of and agree to these Terms.

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between the client and Buraq regarding the services described, and supersede any prior verbal or written representations, including statements made on our website, in marketing materials, by phone, or by any Buraq representative, unless confirmed in writing by an authorized Buraq representative.

3. Reservations and Deposit

A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total package price per traveler is required at the time of booking to secure a reservation. This deposit allows Buraq to begin reserving hotel accommodations, purchasing or holding airline tickets, and initiating visa processing on the client's behalf.

A reservation is not confirmed until the deposit has been received and processed. Buraq reserves the right to release or cancel any unconfirmed reservation if the deposit is not received by the applicable deadline.

Once a deposit is used to purchase airline tickets, reserve hotel rooms, or submit a visa application, those specific costs become non-refundable to Buraq by its suppliers (airlines, hotels, and Saudi visa authorities), and are treated as non-refundable to the client accordingly, as further described in Sections 8 and 9.

4. Payment Methods and Terms

All package prices are quoted in [USD for U.S. bookings / CAD for Canadian bookings — confirm currency convention]. Payment may be made by bank transfer, credit card, debit card, or other method specified at the time of booking. Payments made by credit or debit card may be subject to a processing fee of up to 4%, disclosed at the time of payment. Any bank, wire, or currency conversion fees are the responsibility of the client.

Full and final payment for a package is due no later than 30 days prior to the scheduled departure date, unless a different deadline is specified in writing for a particular package. Failure to complete payment by the applicable deadline may result in cancellation of the reservation under Section 5, including forfeiture of the deposit and any non-refundable costs already incurred.

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to support@travelburaq.com.

Because Buraq commits to non-refundable costs with airlines, hotels, and visa authorities on the client's behalf (see Sections 8 and 9), refunds are limited as follows:

  • 60 or more days before departure: Refund of the package price paid, less the 50% deposit (which is non-refundable), any non-refundable airfare already ticketed, and any visa fees already submitted.
  • 30–59 days before departure: Refund of the package price paid, less the deposit, a cancellation fee of $350 per traveler, any non-refundable airfare already ticketed, any hotel costs Buraq cannot recover from the hotel, and any visa fees already submitted.
  • Less than 30 days before departure: No refund will be issued. At this stage, airfare, hotel accommodations, and visa costs are typically fully committed and non-recoverable.

If a client cancels after a visa application has already been submitted or issued, or after flights or hotel rooms have been booked, the client remains responsible for those specific costs regardless of the cancellation window above, because those amounts are non-refundable to Buraq by the relevant supplier.

Any bank fees, card processing fees, or chargeback-related fees are deducted from any refund issued and are the responsibility of the client.

Buraq reserves the right to cancel a package due to insufficient group size, supplier unavailability, or circumstances described in Section 17 (Force Majeure). In such cases, Buraq will offer the client a comparable alternative package or a refund of amounts that Buraq is able to recover from its suppliers, less any costs already and irrecoverably incurred.

Refunds, where owed, will be issued to the original form of payment within a reasonable time, generally within 30 days of Buraq's approval of the refund.

6. Package Pricing

Package prices are based on rates provided by airlines, hotels, and other suppliers at the time of booking, and may include applicable Saudi VAT, municipality fees, and other government-imposed charges. Prices are subject to change prior to receipt of full payment due to airline fare increases, currency fluctuations, tax changes, or supplier price adjustments. Buraq will make reasonable efforts to notify clients of material price changes before charging any additional amount.

Any travel, accommodation, or activities outside the scope of the confirmed package (including extensions, side trips, or travel outside Saudi Arabia) are the sole financial responsibility of the client.

7. Hotel Accommodation Policy

Once Buraq confirms and pays for a hotel reservation on a client's behalf, that reservation is generally non-refundable and non-changeable per the hotel's own policy, regardless of Buraq's cancellation terms in Section 5. Buraq will attempt to recover funds from a hotel supplier on the client's behalf in the event of a cancellation, but cannot guarantee any refund from the hotel and is not liable for amounts the hotel declines to refund.

Standard hotel check-in time is 4:00 PM and check-out time is 12:00 PM local time, regardless of a traveler's flight arrival or departure time. Any early check-in or late check-out fees imposed by the hotel are the responsibility of the traveler.

Room occupancy (single, double, triple, or quad) is selected at booking. Buraq will make reasonable efforts to match solo travelers with a roommate of similar profile, but cannot guarantee a match. If no match is available, the traveler must either upgrade to the applicable room category or pay the full cost of that room.

8. Flights and Airline Responsibility

Once airline tickets are issued, they are, in almost all cases, non-refundable and non-transferable per the airline's fare rules, regardless of Buraq's own cancellation terms in Section 5. Buraq acts solely as a booking agent for airlines and is not the airline itself.

Buraq is not responsible or liable for: flight delays, flight cancellations, schedule changes, denied boarding, downgrades, missed connections, lost or damaged luggage, or any other operational decision made by an airline. Any costs, penalties, or rebooking fees imposed by an airline as a result of the above are the responsibility of the client, and Buraq will assist the client in communicating with the airline where reasonably possible but does not guarantee any particular outcome.

9. Visa Processing and Visa Rejection

Buraq's role with respect to Saudi entry visas (including Umrah, Hajj, and tourist visas) is limited to preparing and submitting the client's visa application through the appropriate, authorized channel, and providing supporting documentation and guidance to the client for that purpose.

Any reference on our website, in marketing materials, or by a Buraq representative to a "guaranteed visa" or similar language refers only to Buraq's commitment to submit a properly prepared application through the correct government channel on the client's behalf. It is not, and should not be understood as, a guarantee that the Government of Saudi Arabia will approve or issue any visa.

Final approval, denial, and issuance of any Saudi visa is determined solely and exclusively by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and/or other applicable Saudi government authorities, and is outside of Buraq's control. Processing times, approval rates, and outcomes vary based on factors including but not limited to the applicant's nationality, prior travel history, criminal record, documentation accuracy, and changes to Saudi immigration policy. Buraq makes no representation or warranty, express or implied, that any visa application will be approved.

If a visa application is denied, delayed, or otherwise not issued for any reason:

  • Visa processing fees already submitted to Saudi authorities or incurred by Buraq are non-refundable.
  • Any airfare already ticketed and any hotel accommodations already reserved and paid for on the client's behalf remain subject to the airline's and hotel's own non-refundable cancellation terms, as described in Sections 7 and 8, and are not refunded by Buraq.
  • The client remains responsible for any package costs that Buraq cannot recover from its suppliers as a result of the visa denial, and Buraq's cancellation terms under Section 5 continue to apply to any recoverable portion of the package price.
  • Buraq is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, damage, or expense arising from a visa denial, delay, or non-issuance by Saudi authorities, including but not limited to lost wages, lost vacation time, or costs of alternative travel arrangements.

Clients are strongly encouraged to submit accurate and complete documentation as early as possible and to avoid making other non-refundable arrangements (such as time off work) until a visa has been confirmed as issued.

10. Accuracy of Passenger and Passport Information

The client is solely responsible for providing complete and accurate passenger information — including full legal name, date of birth, and passport number — exactly as it appears on the traveler's passport, at the time of booking.

Buraq is not liable for a visa rejection, denied boarding, denied entry, or any related cost, delay, or loss caused by inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated information supplied by the client. Any fees charged by an airline, hotel, or Saudi authorities to correct or reissue documents due to client-provided errors are the responsibility of the client, in addition to any applicable cancellation terms under Section 5.

11. Health, Fitness to Travel, and Immunizations

Umrah and Hajj involve significant physical activity, travel to a hot climate, and large crowds. Clients are responsible for assessing their own fitness to travel and for consulting a physician before booking if they have any medical condition that could be affected by the trip.

Clients are responsible for complying with all immunization and health requirements imposed by Saudi authorities and airlines in effect at the time of travel (which may include, among others, meningococcal vaccination). Buraq will share general guidance on published requirements where available, but is not a medical provider, does not guarantee the completeness of any health information it shares, and is not liable for denial of entry, denial of boarding, or any illness, injury, or medical event arising before, during, or after the trip.

12. Saudi Entry Eligibility Requirements

Entry into Saudi Arabia for Umrah and Hajj is subject to eligibility conditions set by Saudi authorities, which may include requirements specific to age, nationality, or a female traveler's accompaniment by a mahram (eligible male guardian) or participation in an authorized group, and which may change without notice.

Clients are solely responsible for confirming they meet all applicable eligibility requirements before booking. Buraq is not liable for a visa denial or entry refusal resulting from a client's failure to meet Saudi eligibility requirements, and the non-refundable consequences described in Sections 5 and 9 apply in that circumstance.

13. Lost Luggage and Personal Property

Buraq is not responsible for lost, stolen, damaged, or delayed luggage or personal belongings at any point before, during, or after the trip. Claims for lost or damaged luggage should be directed to the applicable airline or hotel. Clients are responsible for safeguarding their own belongings, travel documents, and valuables at all times.

14. Travel Insurance

Clients are strongly encouraged to obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellation, medical emergencies, travel delays, visa denial, and lost or delayed luggage before departure. Buraq is not responsible for any losses that could have been mitigated or covered by travel insurance, and does not provide travel insurance as part of its packages unless explicitly stated in writing.

15. Passport and Travel Documents

Clients are solely responsible for ensuring their passport is valid for at least six months beyond the date of travel, and for complying with all Saudi entry, health, and immigration requirements in effect at the time of travel. Buraq is not responsible for a client being denied boarding or entry due to expired, invalid, or non-compliant travel documents.

16. Saudi Government Regulations and Policy Changes

Umrah and Hajj travel is governed by the laws, regulations, and policies of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Saudi authorities may change visa rules, entry requirements, pilgrim quotas, health regulations, or access to holy sites at any time and without notice. Buraq is not responsible or liable for any disruption, cost, or loss resulting from such government decisions, and Section 5 (Cancellation and Refund Policy) continues to apply in such circumstances to the extent any portion of the package price is recoverable.

17. Force Majeure

Buraq is not liable for any failure or delay in performance, or for any cost, loss, or damage, resulting from events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to war, terrorism, civil unrest, government action or restriction, pandemic or public health emergency, natural disaster, extreme weather, strikes, or airline or supplier disruptions. In such events, Buraq will make reasonable efforts to assist clients in rebooking or recovering funds from suppliers, but cannot guarantee any specific outcome or refund.

18. Itinerary, Supplier, and Guest Speaker Changes

Buraq reserves the right to substitute a hotel with one of comparable or higher category, adjust flight routing or carriers, or change a scheduled guest scholar, imam, or group leader where necessary due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, provided the overall package remains substantially comparable. Such a change does not constitute a breach of these Terms. Buraq is not responsible for the content of any religious, educational, or motivational programming provided by a guest scholar or group leader during a trip.

19. Booking on Behalf of Others

The individual who makes a booking is the primary contact for that booking and is responsible for all payments due, for accurately relaying these Terms and all trip information to any other travelers included in the booking, and for the accuracy of information submitted on their behalf. Buraq is not responsible for errors, omissions, or disputes arising from information provided by the primary contact on behalf of other travelers.

20. Client Conduct

Clients are expected to conduct themselves respectfully and in accordance with applicable laws and local customs throughout the trip. Buraq reserves the right to remove a client from a package or from group services, without refund, in the event of conduct that is unlawful, disruptive, or that endangers the safety or experience of other travelers, guides, or staff.

21. Photography and Media

Buraq may photograph or record portions of group trips for documentation, internal records, and promotional or marketing purposes, including use on our website and social media. By participating in a Buraq trip, clients consent to the possible inclusion of their likeness in such materials. Clients who prefer not to appear in photos or video should inform their group leader and take reasonable steps (such as staying out of frame) during group photography.

22. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Buraq's total liability to a client arising out of or related to a booking, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise, shall not exceed the amount actually paid by that client to Buraq for the package giving rise to the claim.

Buraq acts as an intermediary between clients and third-party suppliers, including airlines, hotels, ground transportation companies, and the Government of Saudi Arabia. Buraq is not liable for the acts, errors, omissions, delays, or service failures of any third-party supplier, or for decisions made by the Government of Saudi Arabia, including with respect to visa issuance. Buraq is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost wages, lost vacation time, or emotional distress, arising from any aspect of a booked trip.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit liability for death or personal injury caused by Buraq's own gross negligence or willful misconduct, or to limit any right that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable consumer protection law, including the Ontario Consumer Protection Act, 2002 for Canadian clients.

23. Indemnification

The client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Buraq, its owners, employees, and representatives from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from the client's breach of these Terms, violation of law, or misconduct during a Buraq-arranged trip.

24. Payment Disputes and Chargebacks

Clients agree to contact Buraq directly at support@travelburaq.com to resolve any billing concern before initiating a credit card chargeback or payment dispute. If a chargeback or payment dispute is filed for services that were rendered, or costs that were properly incurred, in accordance with these Terms, the client remains responsible for the underlying amount owed, together with any administrative, processing, or collection costs Buraq incurs in responding to or recovering the amount. Nothing in this section limits a client's legal right to dispute a charge with their card issuer.

25. Limitation of Claims

Any claim or complaint relating to a booking should be submitted in writing to support@travelburaq.com within 30 days of the completion of travel (or, for a cancelled trip, within 30 days of the cancellation), so that Buraq can investigate promptly. This is an internal notice period intended to support timely resolution and does not shorten or otherwise affect any limitation period established by applicable law.

26. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court or tribunal of competent jurisdiction, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

27. Governing Law and Disputes

For clients contracting with Travel Buraq Global LLC, these Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles, and any dispute shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Florida.

For clients contracting with 100741262 Ltd. (Buraq's Ontario affiliate), these Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, and any dispute shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario. Nothing in this section limits any right a consumer has under the Ontario Consumer Protection Act, 2002 or the Ontario Travel Industry Act, 2002 to bring a claim in Superior Court, including as part of a class proceeding.

28. Privacy

Buraq collects personal information, including passport and travel-document details, solely to arrange and support your travel and visa application. Use of this information is governed by Buraq's Privacy Policy, available at [/privacy-policy/], which clients are encouraged to review before booking.

29. Changes to These Terms

Buraq may update these Terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time a client submits a deposit will govern that booking. Continued use of Buraq's website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms for any future bookings.
