Safiya Ravat
Safiya Ravat is the founder and director of SUHBAH Institute in Houston Texas and holds a
Bachelor’s in Islamic Fiqh and Usul al Fiqh (Islamic Law and Jurisprudence) from the
International Islamic University of Malaysia as well as a Master’s in Pastoral Counseling in
Marriage and Family Therapy. Safiya currently serves as an instructor at the Suhbah Seminary
and a chaplain for the University of Houston MSA.
